OW2 is fast-paced and has 35 unique Heroes with different abilities and several other game elements to keep you entertained for hours. It was released for multiple platforms that include PC, PlayStation, Xbox & Nintendo Switch so that no one misses the fun. Interestingly, Overwatch 2 is one of those games that allows Crossplay with friends. Check out this guide till the end and know how to enable Crossplay & play with your friends in Overwatch 2.
How to Enable Crossplay in Overwatch 2
Playing Crossplay with friends is not that difficult on any platform as it requires the players to follow a few simple steps. Moving further, in order to play Crossplay with your friends, all you need is their Battle Tag. Every player has their unique Battle Tag which can be identified by hovering over your username in the top-right corner. It appears as a nickname followed by numeric digits starting with a #. Add your friends using this Battle Tag and wait until they accept your friend request. In your Friends List, navigate to the friend’s profile you want to play with and add them to a group. Thereafter, when the invite is accepted, begin a game to Crossplay in Overwatch 2.
Also, whenever a Console player enters matchmaking with a PC player in Overwatch 2 for Crossplay, they will enter the PC Pool. This is a massive disadvantage for the Console player because their Aim Assist gets automatically turned off while entering the PC Pool. Moreover, it is difficult for Console players to aim fairly due to the limited space on their joystick.
