Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree Release Date Rumored At The Game Awards 2023
The Elden Ring DLC, titled Shadow of the Erdtree, was officially announced on February 28th, without any further news. This silence is also making the fans impatient, although now a possible release date has emerged to mark on the calendar regarding when we will see the DLC in action again.
According to reports, FromSoftware could present the long-awaited Shadow of the Erdtree DLC during The Game Awards 2023, a moment during which the release date of the expansion will also be announced.
This was, at least, reported according to leaker and YouTuber Ziostorm, who stated that his sources have not been verified, so for the moment, it is best to archive everything as a rumor. That said, it looks like Shadow of the Erdtree is set to launch on February 5, 2024, so about two years after the release of Elden Ring.
According to the latest financial reports, we can tell you that Shadow of the Erdtree should not be released before April 2024. Indeed, Kadokawa Corporation has published its latest financial report, where the Japanese company states that the decline in sales and profits of the first quarter will be compensated, starting from the second quarter of the current fiscal year, by Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon, new games from Spike Chunsoft and from Kadokawa’s mobile titles.
The TGA 2023 will in any case be held on December 7th, 2023, so in fact there are only a few months left before we can find out whether these predictions will prove to be true or not.
