There are three basic ways to survive the early cold in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Warm Clothes, Warm Meals, and Spicy Elixir. While Spicy Peppers provide a limited-time cold resistance, pairing it with warm clothes will help you stay warm for longer periods of time. Keep in mind that it will be difficult for you to get all the ingredients within the cold resistance time if you are not aware of it.
How to Get Archaic Warm Greaves in Tears of the Kingdom (Warm Clothes)
While you are in the Greater Sky Island phase, head over to the Gutanbac Shrine. Once you complete that objective, you can spot a half-broken tree nearby. Head over to the tree and open the chest inside to get the Archaic Warm Greaves in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Cold Resistance Meals
Cold Resistance Meals will help you stay warm for a limited amount of time in TOTK. However, they are quite crucial since getting warm clothes will take some time. Spicy Peppers are one of the most popular meals that will help you survive the early cold in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Cook Spicy Elixir in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Spicy Elixir are quite underrated ways to counter the cold in TOTK. However, the ingredients required can be a headache since they are not available easily. You will need Warm Darner dragonfly since it is the main ingredient and not easily available.
