Many players look for the bleed weapon that they can find earliest in Elden Ring. This is because the bleed build is one of the most common builds you can find players using for both PvE and PvP. But there are a lot of bleed weapons to choose from that can be daunting as a beginner. So in this guide let us take a look at the earliest bleed weapon to use in Elden Ring.
Earliest Bleed Weapon to Use in Elden Ring
These are the two weapons that you can get very early in the game.
- Reduvia Dagger
- The reason this is first on this list instead of Uchigatana is that it is accessible early on to other classes as well. We will get to that blade in a bit let us first talk about this.
- Reduvia Dagger is one of the best bleed weapons which also happens to be the one you can find quite early. This blade is best suited to be dual-wielded. While its physical damage might not be the biggest thing going for it, its bleed buildup is its main highlight. Not to mention that it scales with Dexterity so for a warrior this weapon can be considered a godsend. Manage to get two of them and some of the early bosses and enemies won’t be a problem for you.
- Here are its stats:
- Physical damage: 79
- Critical damage: 110
- Bleed buildup: 50
- It has the following scaling:
- Strength: E
- Dexterity: D
- Arcane: D
- To wield it you should have:
- Strength: 5
- Dexterity: 13
- Arcane: 13
- And lastly, it also gets a unique weapon skill called Reduvia Blood Blade. This skill shoots an arc of blood in front of the user to attack the enemy. It uses 6 FP and cannot be charged.
- Location: You can get it after defeating Bloody Finger Nerijus in the area between Agheel Lake and Murkwater Catacombs.
- Uchigatana
- The second earliest bleed weapon that you can get is Uchigatana. You can pick your starting class as Samurai to get this weapon by default. When you compare it to the Reduvia dagger, it has a little less bleed build-up. But it makes up for it with higher physical damage. Just like Reduvia, you can also dual-wield it.
- Here are its stats:
- Physical damage: 115
- Critical damage: 100
- Bleed buildup: 45
- It has the following scaling:
- Strength: D
- Dexterity: D
- You can wield it when you have the following stats:
- Strength: 11
- Dexterity: 15
- This blade gets the weapon skill Unsheathe. It sheathes the blade and makes your player take a stance. You can then choose to do a light attack that costs 10 FP or a heavy attack that costs 15 FP.
- Location: You can find it at Deathtouched Catacombs at Stormhill in Limgrave.
