The 3.1 Update of Genshin Impact is out and it has brought us loads of different new things to try in the already massive open-world of Teyvat. While exploring the newly added areas in Sumeru and exploring the Hypostyle Desert, players will eventually come across a massive pyramid with a lot of cryptic puzzles in it. Progressing through questlines by Bomifaz in the Aaru Village will require you to solve these puzzles and retrieve the Record of the Tomb of Corouses from this pyramid. So in this guide we will show you how you can get this record from the Dune of Corouses pyramid in Genshin Impact and even grab a Dendroculus as a reward.
How to Solve the Dune of Corouses Puzzle
Before you start traversing through the Dune, an important thing to remember is that in order to get to certain areas in it, you must complete the Golden Slumber questline. In particular, you need to get the Everlight Cell clearance on the Scarlet Slumber Slate relic and have an Adventure Rank of 28 or more.
Once you have all the prerequisites met, head to the Dune of Corouses to the North of the Hypostyle desert. Now, the Record of Tomb of Corouses is on the top-most level of the Dune. You can get to the top level with the air-current elevator in the center of the ruin. You will find this elevator with large fan-blades right next to the Four-Leaf Sigil and the Prism of Khaj-Nisut in the large entryway corridor.
Now, getting to the top-floor seems easy right? Well here’s the tricky part. The top of the elevator is blocked by a barrier until the player completes a set of puzzles. These puzzles involve finding a set of Keystone Replicators scattered around the ruins. These keystones look like glowing inverted pyramids that will follow you around once you find them. Players are also required to find Everlight Cells and activate them to trigger the platform where the Keystones need to be transported. Finding the Record of The Tomb of Corouses
Once you have transported all the keystones to the Everlight platforms, the barrier to the top-floor will open up. All you need to do now is fly all the way to the top of the air-current elevator and find a buried Exquisite Chest. Interacting with this chest will grant you the Record of The Tomb of Corouses. Beware though, as you may have to fight some hostile mobs in this area. Completing all the puzzles will also spawn a Dendoculus which you can get in the left-most room in the main entryway corridor.
