The Dragon’s Pit in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is like a maze with plenty of rooms. In each room and passage, you are bound to meet several enemies but alongside, you will also be getting rewards like Smithing Stones. Not only that, if you beat the main boss in this dungeon, the Ancient Dragon-Man, you can also get a weapon known as Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana. Dragon’s Pit is found exactly on the southern side of the Castle Ensis Checkpoint site of grace. The quickest way to reach there is through the Pillar Path Waypoint site of grace.

From the Pillar Path Waypoint, keep moving in the southern direction. On your way, you will find several broken statues, so as long as you are seeing them, you are heading in the right direction. If you are passing through this area for the first time, chances are you will be obstructed by an Ancient Dragon-Man. If it shows up, you will have to beat it before moving ahead.

You will know you have reached the Dragon’s Pit in Elden Ring when you see a cave entrance with a flame torch outside. Make an entrance and don’t forget to activate the Dragon’s Pit site of grace inside. Inside the dungeon, you will be greeted by several skeleton enemies. Keep in mind that these skeleton enemies revive themselves once you kill them. Whenever you beat a skeleton, it will break apart and try to rejoin its bones again. To kill it permanently, you will have to attack it again after it tries to rejoin its bones.

Aside from the skeletons, you can find mini-bosses like Magma Wyrm and Ancient Dragon-Man inside the Dragon’s Pit. While defeating the Magma Wyrm will reward you with a Dragon Heart and Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, defeat Ancient Dragon-Man to get his Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana.
