Dragon Age: Inquisition was the last major release by BioWare that enchanted the world and it looks like EA and BioWare have put their faith once again in the series. The next Dragon Age looks to tell the story of people surrounding the main character with a deep and personal tale.
Dragon Age has been a fan favorite ever since it was released and during Gamescom 2020 the developers gave more insight about the game the devs said, “in the next Dragon Age, we get an opportunity to see new things, new places, and interact with people who lived and grew up in these spaces as well.”
They want to tell the story about Dragon Age from the perspective where you do not have powers in a mystical world full of wonder. The setting of the next Dragon Age and will be set in Tevinter Imperium, with Solas as a key character.
The next Dragon Age hasn’t been named and is still in the early production phase, but it looks like BioWare and EA have probably understood what they must deliver to bring the studio back to its glory days.
Though no release date has been given, we’d be surprised if the game gets a release date of 2021 as this looks like a next-gen exclusive game judging by the trailer that was shown during the Gamescom show.
