Since the Slice of life mod only requires the base game, you can download this mod from KawaiiStacie’s website without the need for other packs.
Follow these steps to download the mod correctly:
- Go to The Sims Catalog site
- Download the base files for the Slice of Life mod anywhere on your desktop
- Now, unzip the compressed folder to get the base game
- Drag your .package files in the Sims 4 “Mods” folder
- Follow this path to find the Sims 4 mods folder – Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
- Now, create a Slice of Life folder
- In this folder, you must create an SoL Base folder
- Now, put the SoL base (Injector and Menus) in this folder
- Now, go to the KawaiiStacie site and to the SoL menu
- Pick out add ons or packs that you want to download
- Move the installed files to the Slice of Life folder in mods (not the Base folder)
- Make sure the script files are in the same folder as the mods
Now, when you start the Sims 4 game, you should get a prompt that will show you which mods are installed. Make sure that the Slice of Life ones are also there.
It is also important to note that there are two versions of this mod on the Mod Status page. Players will have to choose one, as you can’t play with both.
