You need to install the mod installer and Calamity Mod and then enable the mod in the game.

How to Download and Enable Terraria Calamity Mod

Follow these steps to download and activate the Calamity Mod in Terraria:

First, download tModLoader and install it on your PC.
Next, launch the tModLoader on Steam
Go to the Single Player. This will take you to the character migration screen.
The page will have all the instructions on how you can migrate a character.
Once you have migrated the character, relaunch the application.
Now, go to the Workshop and select Download Mods.
On the upper right corner, you will see a search bar. Type Calamity Mod in it.
Scroll down to find the mod. There are many similar name mods, so you can press the question icon from the Terraria Calamity Mod to check its info.
Once you have verified the data, tap on the download button placed in the mod’s box.
Wait for some time until the download is completed.
Press the Reload Browser button from the bottom left of Mod Browser.
Then go back to the Workshop Hub and select Manage Mods.

Close the tModLoader and reload it to see the effects.
