You will unlock this ability by reliving and triggering the flashback on the second visit to Kashyyyk after finding Tarful. But before you get to it, there are some prerequisites you might need to complete.
Follow the mentioned below steps to unlock the Jedi Flip:
- As you get a cryptic message from Mari, return to Kashyyyk which is also known as the Wookiee planet.
- You need to pass through the Overgrown Pass and defeat the flying predator, Mykal.
- Then, head over to the Kyyylastaaad Falls and defeat the Stormtroopers over there.
- Once you have defeated them, go through the zip line down the Kyyyalastaaad Basin.
- When you find Tarful at the top of Origin Lake, he will give you a breather to swim underwater.
- Dive back into the Origin lake and find a cave into the Shadowlands.
- As you reach there, you will encounter several Stormtroopers and Purge troopers.
- After defeating these troopers, you will encounter the Ninth Sister, who served the Jedi Order once before turning into the dark side.
- She will mock and destroy the platform Cal is standing on.
- Then, you will find yourself in the middle of the lake.
- Swim your way back to the surface to reach the Origin Tree.
- As you reach the surface, go further to the top until you see Shyyyo Bird.
- As it roars at you, jump on the Lung plants to trigger the flashback.
- You need to bounce and jump across the Lung Plants to relive the flashback.
- You will find yourself as a Jedi Padawan training under Jaro Tapal.
- He will be at top of a platform waiting for Cal to use Jedi flip and reach there.
