You can get the Donation Box by purchasing its DIY recipe and building it.
- Go to the Nook Stop Terminal in the Resident Service Building.
- There you can purchase the DIY recipe for the donation box for 800 Nook Miles.
- The recipe requires you to have 4 wood and 4 softwood in order to build it. You can get both of these items by chopping some wood.
- Once you have the required items, go to the workbench and build it.
How to Use the Donation Box in ACNH
As I mentioned above, a Donation Box can be placed on your island, so you can either place it outside your house or on the inside. Once you do then the visitors can choose to give you 1000 Bells. And if you are visiting someone else’s island then face the donation box and press A. This will give you the option to deposit Bells. So the main use of a Donation Box is to get Bells.
Another use for the Donation Box other than donations is for decoration. I mean come on, the box already looks pretty and you can make it prettier by customizing it a bit. You can customize it at a workbench at the cost of 3 Customization kits. The customization of the donation box allows you to change the box color to white or brown. And apply labels to it.
