The Diablo 4 Donan’s Favor is a side-quest that is essential in unlocking the Mount system. With Lilith’s monstrosities and minions spread out, you need to unlock mounts in Diablo IV to travel across Sanctuary. While the Favor quest is quite straightforward, its prerequisites have many Diablo players confused. If you have visited a Stable Master before, you would have been asked to complete this campaign quest. But, how do you get Donan’s Favor in D4? And where is the location of this Favor quest? Here’s a complete walkthrough on how to unlock and get Donan’s Favor quest.
How to Unlock and Get Donan’s Favor in Diablo 4
You can unlock and get Donan’s Favor in Diablo 4 by completing Act IV: A Master’s Touch quest from the campaign. To unlock this campaign side-quest, you must complete Acts 1, 2, and 3. You can meet Donan at the Cathedral of Light to get this side quest or favor.
Once you have met Donan, you can find Mount: Donan’s Favor quest under Priority quests in the Journal. Now, you can head to Kyovashad to speak with the Stable Master for completing Donan’s quest in Diablo 4 and unlock mounts. You can find the Stable Master located in the Kyovashad stables.
D4 Donan’s Favor Walkthrough (Mount Quest)
As the Diablo 4 Mount: Donan’s Favor states, you must visit the Stable Master, Oskar in Kyovashad to complete this quest. Being a simple quest, talk to the Stable Master and call in the favor to complete this quest. After interacting and talking to him at the Stables, he offers you a mount for free.
Aside from getting this mount in Diablo 4, you can purchase Mounts from a Stable Master throughout the Sanctuary. Over there, you can also select your summoned horse and customize their equipment. Rather than the Health bar in previous Diablo titles, D4 has introduced the Fear meter with Mounts. If your horse gets too scared, it can knock you off them. After that, you must wait for 10 seconds until the cooldown is ended and you can use the Mount, again.
Be wary of the monster hordes, as your mounts can easily get scared and knock you off. So, we recommend not running behind or through too many enemies to scare your horse.
