The open beta for COD Modern Warfare (MW) 2 is finally out. With a plethora of new content introduced, there are new perks, maps, game modes, mechanics, and an updated Gunsmith mechanism. That being said, with the new gameplay elements, you can slide and perform a dolphin dive to kill your enemies. But several players in the COD community are quite confused about this dive-to-prone mechanic. So, check out our guide on how to Dolphin Dive in COD MW2.
How to Dolphin Dive in COD MW2
Firstly, you need to perform a tactical sprint and then, hold the crouch movement. As you sprint, make sure that you sprint forward at full speed. Then, you can kill your enemies by holding that position. But make sure that you are covered by your team member or hidden in a safe spot in this position.
Here are the keybinds for all the supported platforms:
- Tactical Sprint
- PS: LS button.
- Xbox: L3 button.
- PC: Shift key button.
- Crouch
- PS: O button.
- Xbox: B button.
- PC: C key button.
It is a pretty good move to pull up on your enemies mainly due to the versatility it offers. Dolphin Dive can be a pretty great move at surprising your opponents. You can use Dolphin Dive to hide behind vehicles, dodge grenades, and reposition yourself quickly when you are attacked. In addition to that, it can also be used in several team strategies.
