While exploring the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, you may come across various different collectible items, some of which are valuable. One of these are the Gems that are extremely valuable in the game as they can be exchanged or traded for coins at one of Goofy’s stalls. There are a total of 18 different types of Gems in the game, each of which have a different price based on how rare they are. Emeralds are rare green gems that can be exchanged for 325 coins and are also a requirement to complete some quests. In this guide we will show you all the ways you can get Emeralds in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Get Emeralds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can only find Emeralds in two locations on the map. These two locations are the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust. You can find the former on the east side of the Plaza area and the latter on the Southwest of the world map. Now, keep in mind though, that you will need 5000 Dreamlight in order to unlock each of these areas.
In order to get Emeralds, you need to look for black-colored rocks with green gems on them. These are Emerald ore rocks that drop Emeralds, Stone, and Coal on mining them with your pickaxe. Now there are chances some of these may not drop Emeralds as it is mostly RNG. We recommend having a villager tagged along with you while you are adventuring out for your hunt for Emeralds. This is so you can double your chances of finding the gems. The villager needs to be assigned to mining and you can even level them up to have a higher chance.
