Atomic Heart: How To Disable HAWK System

Published Date :

Killer robots and communism, what’s not to love about Atomic Heart? Players get to take a trip to an alternate 1955 where the Soviet Union has perfected robot technology. The game is packed with action, full of unique enemies and engaging boss fights. Puzzles and exploration are a massive part of the game but the open world can be brutal. Fortunately, there is a solution. Let’s look at how to disable the HAWK system in Atomic Heart.

How to disable the HAWK system in Atomic Heart

Every time you make your way to the surface of the facility, you are surrounded by hostiles. Security cameras surround the entire area on the lookout for you. Once these are activated swarms of attack drones and robots move in on you. Destroying all these machines is rendered futile thanks to the repair drones that get sent out of the local tower. This is the HAWK system.

The only way to stop the cycle is by disabling the HAWK system. This ability is unlocked thanks to Granny Zima who’ll provide you with the code once you make it out of the Vavilov complex. Once you reach this point in the game, these are the steps you can take to disable the HAWK system.

  • Find the area’s HAWK camera system.
  • Use the camera to unlock the door to the HAWK relay stations on the ground.
  • Make your way into the relay station and engage the terminal controls.
  • Select the Overload Relay option.

This shuts down all the robots and drones in the area for a good long while. You can now explore the area without the fear of security cameras or tin-men.

Those are the steps you can take to disable the HAWK system in Atomic Heart. Check out our guide on The Best early-game melee weapons and other Atomic Heart guides here on Gamer Tweak.
