If you love playing racing video games then you would surely love Codemasters’ latest offering, Dirt 5. The latest racing game brings back the most loved Career mode, which makes the game highly competitive. If you are having trouble finding how to change the difficulty in Dirt 5 then this guide will teach you the same in a very simple way.

Dirt 5 is not the first game released by Codemasters. The British video game developer had earlier released multiple games such as Dirt Rally 2.0 and F1 2020. However, unlike those games, Dirt 5 does not have a 100/125 point difficult scale, making it difficult to precise with the game’s challenge level.

Here are five options that you will get in Career Difficulty setting:

  • Very Easy
  • Easy
  • Medium
  • Hard
  • Very Hard

In order to change the difficulty in Dirt 5, you need to locate ourselves on the menu screen or any screen during a race. What all you need to do is to simply press Options if you are playing Dirt 5 on PS or Menu on Xbox to open up the Profile menu or pause the race you are participating.

After doing this, now go to Settings and then select Driving Aids and you will then see the Career difficulty option at the top of the page. It is totally up to you select the desired option for Traction Control and your Anti-Lock Brakes, making your gameplay entirely different. When you put the options on high, your car will stick to any surface.
