Dinkum: How To Get More Residents

Published Date :

Dinkum is a fun new Animal Crossing-esque game that players get to relax with. This game has players going out into the wild, capturing insects, raising farm animals, and more. One of the most important parts of games like these is getting new residents to your island. These residents bring new things to the island as well. Some bring in shops and others bring in buildings like museums and banks. But inviting them can be a task if you don’t know how to work around the same. And so, here is your guide on how to get more residents in Dinkum.

How to Get More Residents in Dinkum

How to Get More Residents in Dinkum

There are 16 residents that you will get to meet and invite to your island in Dinkum. These are Fletch, John, Theodore, Rayne, Clover, Irwin, Franklyn, Melvin, Sally, and Milburn. Each one requires different favors (even if they seem like they’re the same), and they all have different tastes. And so, you will need to pay attention to each one of your friends if you want to make the residents of your island.

To know if you are on the right path, you will have a heart meter that fills up when you get something right. For every favor that’s completed, you get a quarter of a heart filled. However, if you accept a favor but don’t deliver, you will lose some amount of hearts. To get a friend to become a resident, you will need to fulfill a certain number of favors, talk to them and buy things from/for them.

Once your friend decides to stay, you can get a deed from Fletch to unlock a permanent building for them. This will now make them residents in the game.

This was your guide on how you can bring more residents in Dinkum. If you enjoy playing this game then check out this guide on how to get a camera and take photos in the game.
