How To Destroy Corrupted Atoms In Spiderman 2 (Puzzle Solution)

Published Date :

Destroying the Corrupted Atoms is one of the ways of getting traces and evidence in Marvel’s Spiderman 2. As a part of the main storyline, you will first encounter this puzzle during the ‘Make your Own Choices’ mission. While you can skip such puzzles from the Pause menu, solving them will give you the next level of satisfaction. In this guide, we will tell you the easiest way to solve this molecular atom puzzle in Spider-Man 2 (PS5). That said, scroll down on this page to get started.

How to Solve the Molecular Atom Puzzle in Spiderman 2

When solving the puzzle, you will see a chain of atoms on the screen. Therein, the green ones are the essential atoms and the red ones are corrupted atoms. So to solve this puzzle in Spider-Man 2, you need to destroy the corrupted atoms in such a way that only the essential atoms exist in the chain.

How To Destroy Corrupted Atoms In Spiderman 2 (Puzzle Solution)

The atoms are removed from the chain after clicking on them. Alongside, the adjoining atoms are also removed as they are connected to the same branch. As you advance through this puzzle, you will see brown atoms on the branch as well. Those are neutral atoms that also remove their neighbor atoms. So if you target a single neutral atom, you can remove all the adjoining corrupted atoms in Spiderman 2. But make sure that there are no essential atoms attached or else it would be removed too.

Some puzzles will have bigger atomic chains and will feature more corruptions to erase. In such situations, you would not get a proper angle to destroy the correct atom. Luckily, you can rotate the chain to get a better view of the atoms to remove them easily.

After solving this puzzle, you will know the type of element used on the crime scene. This will help our Spider-Men figure out their next step in the mission.

That’s all you should keep in mind before solving the Corrupted Atoms puzzle in Spiderman 2. While you are here, make sure to check out our other guides on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on Gamer Tweak.
