How to Beat Surtr in AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok?
Before you begin with the fight, upgrade all of your gear to its maximum potential. As you will be fighting a compressed giant version of Lava, you need to upgrade your Fire Build-up resistance and Fire Damage Resistance. Mentioned below are the steps to help you take down Surtr:
- Now as you begin with the combat, take some time to analyze his movements.
- Maintain a safe distance and avoid getting too close to him for the starters.
- Try dodging his sword attacks and use long-ranged attacks to deplete his health.
- If you get too close to him, he can stomp you with his foot marking a V-shaped symbol.
- You need to keep moving spontaneously while observing his attacks.
- When the opportunity comes, strike him with a weapon and then maintain a distance again.
- Remember to dodge and roll back his attacks as much as possible.
- Once you have depleted much of his health, he will use his left hand to smash on the ground which will create a fire circle.
- This attack can damage you greatly as it will hit you right at the point you were standing when he smashed his hand.
- While he surrounds you with lava, be cautious to not step or go closer to it. He can even throw the lava underneath the ground.
