Giant WildClaw Boss is tough to beat in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. The boss has a wide range of areas to move along with minions guarding him. Buy with the right combination of team, attacks, sparks, and some health boost can make this easy. In this guide, you will learn easy tricks on how to beat Giant WildClaw easily and details on new regards unlocked.

How to Beat Giant WildClaw?

To Enter the battle with Giant WildClaw all characters in your team must be on Level 3. After beating this boss you will unlock Level 4. Here is the team list best fitted to deal with WildClaw.

Team:

  • Mario – Level 3 (Spark – Pyrostar Lvl 2)
  • Edge – Level 3 (Spark – Exosphere Lvl 1)
  • Rabbid Peach – Level 3 (Spark – Starburst Lvl 2)

Sparks: How to Get More Sparks?

  • Pyrostar: Burn Attack (All weapon-based attacks deal 78-97 fire damage and have fire burn super effects.) Burn Protector (All Super Effect damage is reduced by 25% . Heroes are not affected by fire Burn Super Effect.)
  • Exosphere: Fortify (Allies within range take -25% less damage, including super effects.) Athlete (Increase all move ability damage by 15%.)
  • Starburst: Turbo Charge (Allies within range deal 30% more damage with attacks and movement abilities.) Physical Protector (Income physical damage is reduced by 20%.)

Items:

  • Super Mushroom: Restores 30% of your Health Points.

Rabbid Peach is a combat healer, the ability that can heal heroes on the battleground. This helps a lot when you are in desperate need of HP. With this carry do not forget to have some Super Mushrooms in your inventory. Every team member will be limited by movement, while the boss has the freedom to walk around a large area. After the attack, it will approach and attack. There will be black portals on the ground. They can spawn one enemy each, you can choose to destroy them.

In the beginning, there will be two portals and later three more will appear. You can ignore those and focus on the boss fight. Once done follow the below attack strategy and focus all your attacks on the boss. If you can find a line of attack where the small soldiers are in attack range, it will be the best move.

Attack Strategy:

  • Edge – Flying Blade- 80-100 DMG. Can hit multiple targets in the range.
  • Rabbid Peach – Turbocharge + Triple-Troll (40-49 DMG x3)
  • Mario – Burn Attack + Dual Slinger (25-32 DMG)
  • Edge – Stormblade + Flying Blade (240-300 DMG)
  • Rabbid Peach – Triple-Troll x2
  • Edge – Flying Blade (240-300 DMG)
  • Mario – Dual Slinger (60-75 DMG)
  • Mario – Burn Attack + Dual Slinger (25-32 DMG)
  • Rabbid Peach – Turbo Charge + Triple-Troll (40-49 DMG x3)
  • Edge – Flying Blade (156-195 DMG)

Bossfight Tips:

  1. Heal your team members first before entering into the battle. Maxout HP will help you to deal with damage from smaller enemies.
  2. Stay in cover, Wildclaw will not directly attack or approach you if you are behind a wall.
  3. Whenever you are using Edge’s Fortify ability make sure the other two team members are in the range. So that they can get -25% less damage effect.
  4. Use Rabbid Peach’s Heal ability to restore 20% HP.
  5. Use Rabbid Peach’s Turbocharge ability to incase damage by 30%.
  6. Use Edge’s Fortify ability to get -25% less damage.
  7. To take down small enemies, use Dual Slinger if high damage is shown over their heads.
  8. Try to maximize damage, and focus more on the Giant Wildclaw. Smaller enemies will not damage you much if you are hiding.
  9. Switch between allies to keep on changing their positions.

Giant WildClaw Boss Fight Rewards:

  • Purified Darkness Energy Crystal
  • Character Level 4
  • +85 Coins
  • +50 Star Bits
  • Giant Enemies

Enemies will change their positions in their turn. You will also have to move your allies to a safe spot. Try not to be very near to the boss this increase the DMG intensity. Abilities will help you to health, increase damage and amplify attacks. So use them in between, and make sure you have around 6 to 7 super mushrooms. This will only help Mario, you can use him for taking down the smaller enemies. Mario’s Dual Slinger attack is highly effective against them. After clearing the level you will unlock a third team member slot.
