Deeproot Depths is an underground area which makes it a place that is hard to get to. It is an important location to go to and even has a quest that can affect the ending. There are two ways to go about reaching Deeproot Depth, below are the steps needed for each method.

From Leyndell

The first way to get to Deeproot Depths is in Lyndell. First, go to the Subterranean-Shunning Grounds. There you need to descend a well that is outside the Avenue Balcony Site of Grace. Doing so will lead you to Forsaken Depths. This is where you will find Mohg, the Omen.

Once you defeat Mohg, the Omen, strike the altar behind the chest which will reveal a hidden path. Go down this hidden path and keep descending carefully by using wooden walkways and tombstones as platforms to land on.

After getting to the very bottom, you will reach the Frenzied Flame Proscription. Here, face the southeastern corner and strike the third wall on the left to reveal a hidden room. This room will have a chest in it. Strike the wall behind the chest which will reveal another path. This is the path you can take to get to the Deeproot Depths.

From Siofra Aqueduct

This method of getting to Deeproot Depths requires you to progress through the game until you have reached Nokron, Eternal City. Once there, make your way to Night’s Sacred Grounds. Find the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace and head northeast of it. Get past the dead deer that’s surrounded by Ancestral Followers and you will reach an area with spirit jellyfish floating around.

From there, continue onwards going down the cliff until you reach the Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace. Proceeding from there, you will now have reached the area of the Valiant Gargoyle boss fight. Once you defeat both Gargoyles head towards the foot of the waterfall in this area where you will find a coffin. Interact with this coffin and you will be sent to the Deeproot Depths.

Using these two methods you can get to Deeproot Depths in Elden Ring. For more Elden Ring guides and content, check out our other articles like how to Start the Festival, and how to Dual Wield in Elden Ring.
