In Zelda Tears of The Kingdom (ToTK), the “Decorate with Passion” side quest has confused many players. This quest at Kara Kara Bazaar requires you to find a suitable weapon as a reference for Boraa. She wants this reference to decorate her mentor’s weapon. But since the instructions are unclear, players do not know where to find something that sparkles or radiates with a burning passion. Decorate With Passion in Zelda Tears of The Kingdom (TOTK)
To complete Decorate with Passion side quest in Zelda ToTK, you must fuse a weapon with Ruby and hand it over to Boraa. She will use it as a reference to decorate her master’s weapon to make it sparkle and radiate with a burning passion.
This quest starts when you visit the Kara Kara Bazaar at the entrance of the Gerudo Desert at coordinates (-3227, -2520, 0023). When you talk to Boraa, she will give you incomplete information about the quest. That’s why many players are stuck on this quest. Boraa will inform you that her mentor entrusted her with decorating her weapon. According to her, the weapon should sparkle and radiate with a burning passion. Moreover, the mentor is allergic to monsters so you cannot use Monster Parts either.
As we mentioned, you’ll need a Ruby and any weapon. Once you have those, you can help Boraa decorate the weapon in ToTK. To do so:
- Open your inventory and hold a Ruby.
- Then, drop it on the ground and select a weapon (a tree branch works)
- Use the Fuse ability to attach the Ruby to the weapon.
- Head over to Boraa and interact with her.
- After her dialogue is complete, select the, “What about this?” option and hand over the weapon.
- She will use it as a reference to decorate her mentor’s weapon.
- Then, she will reward you with an Electric Keese Wing for your troubles.
Note that you cannot use any other mineral like Amber or Sapphire. Moreover, we recommend you use a tree branch since it’s just a reference. You’ll lose the ruby and the weapon so a branch is the least expensive option.
