Dead Rails Werewolf Class Guide

Updated Date :

While Werewolves are a terrifying enemy to face, you can now become a Werewolf yourself through the new class in Dead Rails. It can be purchased from the Tailer for 50 Bonds and there are quite a few boosts involved. However, you spawn with a basic tool. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

When you start your run as a Werewolf, you spawn with 1x Shovel but your abilities include 2x damage, speed, and health during the night. Similar to the Vampire class, you’re better as a teammate at night, however, you still have 0.9x damage, speed and health during the day as a werewolf.

town in night time

Whenever it’s night time, you can run faster than the enemies that chase you and if you can land headshots, you can take the weaker ones down easily. However, this also means you will come across other Werewolves that you will need to tackle more often, especially in the outdoors which can become pretty dark. Make sure to wear armor because if lightning strikes you, you can still survive.

Note that during the first day werewolf class will have the same stats of the default None class, however, after that, you will have 10% slower speed, lower damage and health during daytime. So, if you’re caught somewhere outside and it goes from night to day, you will have to deal with your lower stats to get back to the train or town.

In general, the Vampire class still wins over Werewolf in Dead Rails, however, it’s worth trying out for its power during nighttime, especially if your goal in your team is to loot and clear the Castle with a weapon equipped.
