The wait is finally over as the developer of the game has confirmed to launch Cyberpunk 2077 on December 10, 2020. The game will be released for almost all leading platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

The official announcement of releasing Cyberpunk 2077 came after several delays. Earlier, it was supposed to release on September 17 and November 19 this year.

Has Cyberpunk 2077’s pre-load information leaked?

A few days before the official release date of Cyberpunk 2077, we have learnt that the pre-load date for the PS4 version of the game has been leaked on the internet. If anything to go by a Twitter page ‘ PlayStation Game Size, the initial download size of Cyberpunk 2077 will be of 72 GB. Notably, this does not include the day one patch.

They also confirmed that the size of day one patch will be different for all-region. As per the Twitter page, the pre-loading date is scheduled for December 8, 2020, but it is likely to be preponed to December 3, 2020.

If the leak turns out true, Cyberpunk 2077 could easily consume 100 GB of storage after future updates and patches. CD Projekt Red has not made any official announcement regarding the pre-load date as of yet.

How long to beat Cyberpunk 2077?

A few days after the trailer of the game was released, senior quest designer Patrick Mills had opened up the duration of the game. He had said that Cyberpunk 2077 will be slightly shorter than The Witcher 3.

“We got a lot of complaints about the Witcher 3’s main story just being too long, and looking at the metrics you see tremendous numbers of people played through that game really far, but never made it to the end,” he was quoted as saying to PC Gamesn.

According to HowLongToBeat, The Witcher 3’s main story takes almost 50 hours to get it completed for an average player. This could mean that the story of Cyberpunk 2077 could take around 40 hours.
