It is without a single shred of doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a visual masterpiece and the developers have worked tirelessly to make it that, but one wonders what the game might look with the help of new hardware that will be in the new generation consoles.
Well if you would like to get a sneak peek into the future of this game, you can do so right now, the team behind Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED have teamed up with Nvidia to produce some visually pleasing 4K screenshots of the game. These have been taken from a PC but since they are rendered in 4K which will certainly be supported by the next-gen consoles by default we can get a clear picture.
The new technology that both Xbox and PS4 have been talking on and on about is ray tracing, which basically helps to light visuals of the game better to produce a more authentic look instead of just computer generated graphics.
All this means that we will certainly have a more immersing experience when the next gen consoles are released as the leap from the current generation to the next generation visually looks beyond comparable.
These screenshots, however, do not completely justify the exact replica of the next-gen consoles as the built for them will certainly differ from the PC these screenshots are pulled from which means that there will be a slight variation but more or less this is the high level of detail that we will be offered.
