Jagged Alliance 3: How To Create Custom Mercs (Mercenaries)

With the Jagged Alliance 3 custom mercs, you are in control of more character customization based on your needed attributes. Since your team may lack health, dexterity, and agility, or run out of meds or explosives it is always better to have a custom mercenary in JA 3 with higher attributes. Once you create a custom merc, you can change their perks and stats based on your liking. But since the game doesn’t explain or shed light on this feature, many players are eagerly looking to create customized mercenaries. So, how to create custom mercs in JA3? Don’t worry, as our guide has got you covered with the steps for creating a custom mercenary in Jagged Alliance 3.

How to Create Custom Mercs in Jagged Alliance 3

Follow the below steps to create custom mercs in JA3:

  • Head to the A.I.M Database page and press the Continue button.
  • Click on the I.M.P Web tab below the URL.
  • Press the Log In option and select the “ENT OK” option.
  • This will direct you to the Institute for Mercenary Profiling (I.M.P) page.
  • Select the “I will skip this wonderful test and select manually” option rather than taking a P.E.T. test.
  • This will take you to the page for creating a custom merc.
  • You can select a Name and Nickname for the customized mercenary.
  • The merc will have zero attribute points when your start customizing them. So, you can lower the attribute points offered to various stats to increase their attribute points.
  • Then, select the Next button at the bottom to select Personal and Tactical Perks.
  • Lastly, pay $6,999 to finish creating the custom merc.

Rather than hiring the mercs unfit for your team, it is better to create custom mercenaries in Jagged Alliance 3. That’s because you can customize their stats or attributes according to your preferences.

  • Health
  • Agility
  • Dexterity
  • Strength
  • Leadership
  • Wisdom
  • Marksmanship
  • Mechanical
