What is The Herald in Cookie Clicker?

The Herald is a feature in Cookie Clicker that gives all players a passive buff. This buff is based on the current number of players who play the game on Steam. You need to keep in mind that this buff is only available to users of the Steam version of Cookie Clicker. This is a paid version of the original Cookie Clicker game. If you buy it, you will not have to view advertisements, plus you will also have the opportunity to listen to music, along with Steam Workshop.

One of the best heralds you can get your hands on are the heavenly upgrade heralds. These heralds offer a passive cps boost. This boost is based on the number of people that donate to the top tier of Patreon. The maximum cap for this boost is at 100%. The boost is also capped at 1% per donator. You will find the number of donators highlighted in purple at the top of your screen.

The Herald boost will only be active if you have ascended and purchased the heavenly upgrade (as mentioned earlier). You will be able to buy this upgrade for a cost of 100 heavenly chips. With this Herald, you will also receive the same privileges as all of the other tiers along with a special Discord reward.

This was all you need to know about the Herald in Cookie Clicker. As you can see, it is a pretty special element of the game. As long as you have the Steam version of the game, you will be able to get your hands on it.
