There will be a rock bridge, cross it and drop down onto a lower area on the left and continue up the path until you find the Pendulum Statue enemy in a lava room. Go through a window into a dark room and climb down the ladder near the door. Keep going down the stairs and you will find the corpse, behind a cell door.
