In Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader, players have the option to loot and collect as many goods as they can. These items give them an upper hand in the game. However, there is another way players can passively collect a few perks and that is by understanding the mechanics of how Loyalty and the Conviction System works.
If you need to know more about this feature and how you can use it to your advantage, check out the following guide.
What is the Conviction System in Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader
Loyalty refers to the decisions you will have to take in the game. Whenever you interact with any of the characters you are given a series of options you can select. The Conviction System has these three beliefs – Dogmatic, Iconoclast, or Heretical written in brackets before the answer. Each of them have levels that you need to complete.
However, the choice of selecting either one of them is fully in the hands of your character. This means that while exchanging a dialogue with any character, you can go with the decision you find most appropriate and collect your points to increase your level.
It is also possible for you to change your Loyalty and select any Conviction you want to choose. Furthermore, you can even try and collect points for all three of them simultaneously.
What are the advantages of completing a Conviction level in MK40K Rogue Trader
If you decide to stick with one loyalty out of the three and complete the level you will be able to unlock special perks and benefits. To check this, you can go to your character’s screen and then click on Summary. Click on each of them to check the levels you have completed.
