Published Date :

The play it safe quest in Cyberpunk 2077 will have you assist Takemura and kidnap Hanako Arasaka during the parade. It is one of the most daunting and thrilling quests in the game as you have to be on your guard and face a boss in the end. If you’re having trouble completing the Play It Safe quest in Cyberpunk 2077, read this guide.

How To Complete Play It Safe Quest In Cyberpunk 2077

The Play It Safe quest in Cyberpunk 2077 starts off with a call from Takemura who asks you to go to Japantown Market where the parade is taking place. You will need to wait there and collect the shard and view the data from Takemura. Once you have it he will inform you to take out three different snipers, stop the Arasaka Netrunner and defeat Oda.

You will have to begin in Japantown, the first objective is to take out all three snipers. All three are stationed at various vantage points and you can get to their location by following the markers. When you’re trying to find the first sniper, you will have to go through the people at the parade, climb the stairs to a building and go through a door. Be careful as there’s a mine rigged just behind it. Jump over the laser and you’ll be fine. When you see the first sniper, crouch down and take him down silently.

For the second sniper, you will need to take the elevator to the 21st floor and climb up the ladder which will take you to a gap that you must jump across. Follow the marker and it will take you outside where the drones can detect you, simply crouch and hide until the drones go away and make your way down.

Take out any guards if you need to but do so stealthily. Follow the marker to the second sniper and when it leads you to open a room be careful as there’s a mine nearby. Jump over it and you will find the second sniper.  Taking out snipers is essential during the play it safe quest in Cyberpunk 2077.

Now, all you have to do is take out the third sniper. There is a door that leads all the way to the next sniper, so make sure that you use it. There will be a couple of guards patrolling it but you can take them out easily. When you reach the balcony, cross the bridge to get to the other side. Make sure that you do not cross while the floats are passing as you’ll burn and die immediately during the play it safe quest.

Get to the elevator and go to the 24th floor, keep following the marker and you will get to the place where you will find the third sniper. Be careful of the mines and take out the final sniper.

After you do that, Takemura will alert you saying that you will also need to get to the netrunner and stop her. Once again you will need to follow the marker. Go through the door and cross the bridge once again. This should take you down inside a building under construction. When you find the netrunner, pull out her link, and you will be immediately attacked by Oda.

Defeat Oda and jack into the access points and deactivate the security systems. Takemura will take Hanako and alert you to escape from the area. You will need to head to the door and go down. There will be a guard stationed there. You can take him out and then take the elevator to the street level to finish the quest.

The Play It Safe is a main quest in Cyberpunk 2077 that all players must complete and is one of the most fun and intriguing ones to play. If you’re having trouble with other quests you can check out our Cyberpunk 2077 Wiki Guide to know more right here on Gamer Tweak.
