Although you won’t have any restrictions to access the DLC and you will be able to dive into Valhalla’s storyline at any point in the game.
God of War Ragnarok Valhalla follows Kratos on his journey through the mystical realm after his penultimate fight against Odin. There will be quite a few spoilers while going through the DLC’s roguelite campaign. So for the players who are concerned with all the spoilers, finishing the main storyline becomes important.

How to Start God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC?
To start Valhalla DLC, players will need to first download the expansion for God of War Ragnarok. For players who already own the main game, the expansion will be free to download from the PlayStation Store.
Once you download the update, simply launch the game and select the Valhalla option available in the main menu. It will be right there below the New Game+ option and just above the settings.
Since the roguelite adventure is separate from God of War Ragnarok, you won’t require a previously saved file to access the DLC. Once you select Valhalla, you will enter the shores of the mystical realm with fewer weapons and armor. And you will have to progress in the storyline to unlock different equipment in the game.
How Long to Beat God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC?
It will take anywhere around 4 to 5 hours to complete Krato’s roguelite campaign in the Valhalla DLC. With 12 new trophies for players to unlock, the campaign can extend its play to more than 6 hours. Not to mention, if you are a completionist then you are in for a treat.
There are 5 difficulty settings available for players for the God of War Ragnarok Valhalla DLC. Players can customize their gameplay accordingly in their campaign.
