How to Get Combat Caches in Fortnite
Introduced during Chapter 4, Season 2, Combat Caches are drops that appear on your map after the third Storm Circle. These drops consist of some high-tier tools, gear, and weapons. Once they spawn, players will see a Combat Cache marker on their screen. However, choosing to collect this drop can also be risky. Therefore, you can also choose to ignore it.
It is important to note that the longer you wait to collect it, the faster the rarity of the drop will decrease. If you want the rare item in store, you must follow the marker or the beam of light quickly. Once you have found it, you must hold the ‘Recover Cache‘ option on the screen.
Players will then have to wait for the 50-second timer to go off. Once the timer is up, the Combat Cache will open, and you can collect your loot.
