Ayanokoji, our manipulative, charming, and genius protagonist, is coming back. If you are a fan of the psychological anime that revolves around school, this is definitely something you would never want to miss. Season one of the anime aired in July 2017, after which it took a half-decade for season 2 to be released in July 2022. Fortunately for us, Season 3 didn’t take as much time as before.
When Will Classroom of the Elite Season 3 Premiere?
As confirmed by the latest trailer of Kadokawa, Season 3 of the Classroom of Elite is set to premiere on 3rd January 2024. It will be broadcast on several networks in Japan, while for international fans, Crunchyroll will simulcast it. Crunchyroll announced the same during its New York Comic Con panel. Viewers from North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS will be able to watch it.
Originally, this season was supposed to air in the year 2023, but due to some reason, they had to delay it. The previous installation of the anime had 12 and 13 episodes, so it would be safe to say that this will have something around it.
What is the Plot of Season 3?
According to the trailer, it will conclude the First Year Arc. So far, it has covered till Volume 7.5, and this arc ends at Volume 11.5, End Of A Year.
The post-credit scene of the last episode of season 2 ends with Arisu Sakayanagi confronting Ayanokoji and telling him things like she deserves the role of burying the masterpiece of the White Room. Additionally, the season 3 trailer shows her talking to Ayanokoji about how she is going to destroy him, but first, she will target a particular class.
This makes us assume that the story will dwell more on his mysterious past. Possibly, revealing why he stays in the background while controlling others like chess pieces.
