There is 1 range class and 3 melee classes in Chivalry 2. All these classes are further divided into 3 subclasses. So in total, there are 12 subclasses. Each class has access to primary weapons, secondary weapons, and items with a few exceptions. These weapons are divided into cut, chop, and blunt type damage. All these weapons are accessible to all class types.

1. Knight Class

Crusader

  • Special Ability – Oil Pot. Sets fire to a small area where the pot is thrown.
  • Weakness – Dash cooldown is increased by 50%.

2. Footman Class

Footman class is basically the average class of the game. Not too good not too bad. It does not have exceptional abilities, however, it does not even have a strong disability as the stats are panned out in a pretty average format. This class can be picked if you are new to the game and want to test what kind of gameplay are you looking for within the game.

  • Speed – 100
  • Stamina – 80
  • Signature move – Sprint Charge

Poleman

  • Special Ability – Bandage Kit. Heals all the damage that is taken.
  • Weakness – Low damage dealt and cannot deal damage to multiple enemies at one time.

Man at Arms

  • Special Ability – Bandage Kit. Bandage Kit. Heals all the damage that is taken.
  • Weakness – Weaker than other classes with a weaker shield and low damage dealing weapons.

Field Engineer

  • Special Ability – Bandage Kit. Bandage Kit. Heals all the damage that is taken.
  • Weakness – Low damage dealt and cannot kill enemies at a good rate like other classes.

3. Vanguard Class

Undoubtedly the class that you should pick in the Chivalry 2 game. They have some of the strongest weapons and can have one-shot kills in the game. They are faster than any other class. There is the lowest chance of you getting defeated in a 1v1 battle. This is definitely the class with will get things done.

  • Health – 130
  • Speed – 120
  • Stamina – 100
  • Signature move – Leaping Strike

Devastator

  • Special Ability – Oil Pot. Sets fire to a small area where the pot is thrown.
  • Weakness – Usually has blunt primary weapons which do not deal damage to multiple opponents at once.

Raider

  • Special ability – War Horn. It provides health regen to nearby allies.
  • Weakness – Only suitable for players who are good and fast with aiming precisely.

Ambusher

  • Special Ability – Quiver. Restores the throwing knife ammo by full.
  • Weakness – Has low damage weapons as its primary weapon choice.

4. Archer Class

Archer

Archer class is the only ranged class in Chivalry 2. If you are good with stealth, you can choose this class. They are the ones that are vulnerable when exposed but can completely blindside an enemy with their snipe shots.

  • Health – 90
  • Speed – 100
  • Stamina – 50
  • Signature move – No Signature Move

Archer has the following Subclasses in Chivalry 2 that you can further choose from:

Longbowman

  • Special Ability – Brazier. Places a brazier to light a fire to its bows and arrows. If you hit teammates with it, they will take the damage too.
  • Weakness – Depletes stamina and messes up your accuracy.

Crossbowman

  • Special Ability – Banner. You can plant banners to provide allies with a health regen in that particular radius.
  • Weakness – Will stay in place until you reload your Crossbow and will take damage until then.

Skirmisher

  • Special Ability – Quiver. Restores the ammo by full.
  • Weakness – Low stamina and low damage dealt with the weapons. Can be used as a support-type character instead.
