Battlefield 2042 is the latest title released by DICE & EA. It has a wide selection of weapons that the players can pick up and play. Some of them are full-auto guns like the LMGs and others are manual fire like the Snipers. But this is not true for all Guns. Some of them can have multiple Fire Mode and you can change from one mode to another. In today’s guide, I will show you how to change Fire Modes in Battlefield 2042.
How to change Fire Modes in Battlefield 2042
To use the guns with Alt-Fire or other Fire Modes, you will have to first scope in on them. Once you are Scoping with the weapon or commonly known as ADS, there will be a Bullets Icon to the left of the Ammo Count of the Clip. To the left of that, there be a key to which you can press to change the Fire Mode. It will be V for PC and Down Key on the D-Pad for Consoles. Clicking the respective buttons will change the Fire Mode of the gun in Battlefield 2042.
Certain guns in Battlefield 2042 have multiple Fire Modes, also commonly known as Alt-Fire. The guns that do have an Alt-Fire or multiple Fire Modes are:
- Secondary:
- G57 – Single Fire & Burst.
- SMG:
- PBX-45 – Single Fire & Full Auto Fire Modes.
- PP-29 – Single Fire & Full Auto Fire Modes.
- MP9 – Single Fire & Full Auto Fire Modes.
- K30 – Burst & Full Auto Fire Modes.
- Assault Rifle:
- M5A3 – Full Auto & Single Fire Modes.
- AK-24 – Burst, Full Auto & Single Fire Modes.
- SFAR-M GL – Full Auto & Single Fire Modes.
- AC-42 – Burst & Single Fire Modes.
- LMG:
- LCMG – Single Fire & Full Auto Fire Modes.
- Utility:
- 12M AUTO – Burst & Full Auto Fire Modes.
