How To Change Clothes in Hogwarts Legacy (Transmog)
You can change your outfits from the Gear Tab in Hogwarts Legacy.The best part is this game lets you transmog, which means it only changes your preferred gear’s appearance without altering its stats.
- Open the Field Guide and go to the Gear tab.
- Here you can change the following Clothing Gears:
- Handwear
- Facewear
- Headwear
- Neckwear
- Cloaks and Robes
- Outfit
- Click on the piece of outfit that you want to change.
- F-key on PC
- Square on PlayStation
- X on Xbox
- Y on Nintendo Switch
- Now, select the new gear and press the Reset Appearance button.
Similarly, change all other pieces of clothing that you like until you are happy with them. In case you want to unequip something then simply choose the Invisible option for that gear. The best part is if there is some gear that you don’t like then you can directly sell it from here.

You can change the basic appearance of your character by going to Madam Snelling’s Tress Emporium at Hogsmeade. Talk to Calliope Snelling and she will allow you to change your complexion, eyebrows, hairstyle, and hair color for 20 Gold Coins.
