In Gotham Knights, you can take the mantle of the following characters:

  • Nightwing
  • Robin
  • Batgirl
  • Red Hood

With the Batcave destroyed, your base of operations will be at Belfry. When you complete the first tutorial of the Night Watch, you will unlock the characters and the customization menu.

To swap characters:

  • Return to Belfry after completing your Night Watch
  • Head to the back left corner of the base
  • Here, the four suits of the characters are displayed
  • Walk over to the suit of the character you want to use
  • You will see an interact button (X on PS)
  • Once you interact with the suit, the game will be saved and you will change to that character
  • You can switch the characters after every Night Watch

When you swap a certain character, the cutscenes will adapt accordingly. You can also take on several suits present in the game.
One of the things that you should keep in mind is the ability tree. You don’t have to earn ability points for each character. Once you have earned the ability points, you can level up each of your characters when you change into them. You can level them up according to your playstyle.
That’s all from us on how to change characters in Gotham Knights. You can also team up with your friends to defend the city of Gotham from criminals. However, this option is not available right from the beginning. Read our guide on How to unlock Multiplayer to open this option.
