CD Projekt RED Denies They Are Developing New Games Before Cyberpunk 2077 Release

It was previously reported that the CD Projekt RED is already working on three projects related to Cyberpunk 2077 but now it seems that they were incorrect, CD Projekt RED released a stated to PC Gamer in which they said.

“We currently have a total of five teams working on a number of projects, with three focusing on the development of Cyberpunk 2077. These include CD Projekt Red Warsaw and Kraków, who are handling the main game, as well as the Wrocław studio, where around 40 industry specialists are engaged in technology R&D.”

The reports made earlier were pointing towards another multiplayer project that the company has been working on for years and does not necessarily mean that a multiplayer Cyberpunk 2077 game.

Though the entire report was not incorrect as they are developing a mobile-based game which will be similar to Gwent which we saw as a spinoff from The Witcher 3.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development for a lot of time and it is unlikely that CD Projekt RED will rush towards making an announcement for any other game before the release of Cyberpunk 2077 which will be released on 16th April 2020.

The game is certainly one of the most anticipated titles in recent years and though not all of it is known at the moment, but it already looks like it will steal the spotlight when released.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PC. PS4 and Xbox One.
