Pokemon Legends Arceus – How To Catch Flying Pokemon?

Published Date :

Pokemon Legends Arceus has changed a few game mechanics that were used in prior generations. Catching a Pokemon in older games was pretty straightforward, bring the Wild Pokemon to low health and then toss a Pokeball. This would work with any Pokemon. In Pokemon Legends Arceus, things are different. To catch a Pokemon in Legends Arceus, you will have to throw the Pokeball at the Pokemon and hope it gets caught. This is fine till we encounter Pokemon who Fly. Different from Flying-Type Pokemon, these are found in flying above the ground. They tend to be very tricky to catch. In today’s guide, I will show you how to catch Flying Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus.

How to Catch Flying Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

When I talk about Flying Pokemon, I mean the Pokemon who can fly or are seen flying above the ground. Catching these Flying Pokemons in Legends Arceus can be tough as the Pokeballs may not reach them. It can also be harder as they move around either in random directions or in a set pattern. How do we catch them? Well, the answer is pretty easy. The best way to catch a Flying Pokemon is by getting to high-ground or on the same level as the said Pokemon. You can achieve this by climbing a nearby Rock Formation. Once you get there, time your Pokeballs as they are affected by Real-world Physics. Now Just wait and throw and you should be able to catch the Flying Pokemon in Legends Arceus.

Another good way to catch them is by using a Feather Ball, Wing Ball, or Jet Ball. These are Pokeballs designed for catching Flying Pokemons of the Hisuin region in Legends Arceus. Unlike their Pokeball counterparts, they travel in a straight line. Thanks to this mechanic, you don’t have to consider timing, positioning, or trajectory. Just aim and throw. Do keep in that The catch rates with this line of Pokeballs are lower than the default one. You will need a lot of them.

This was all about catching Flying Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus. Hopefully, this guide has helped you. You can also check our guides on How To Mass Release Pokemon in Legends Arceus.
