Carrion: How Long Does It Take To Beat And Does It Have Multiplayer?

Updated Date :

Carrion is an indie game that released on July 23, 2020 for PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. A horror game, yes, but it is no ordinary horror game – it has a unique spin on the genre and makes you, the player, the dangerous creature. You play as an amorphous monster with tentacles and it can be quite a wild ride just devouring humans and clearing puzzles as you progress. There no denying that it is a gory game and that’s what is awesome about it. Moving through various areas being your monstrous self can be quite gratifying. But how long does it take to beat Carrion? Plus, does it have multiplayer or co-op mode? Find answers in this quick guide.

How Long to Beat Carrion?

To know how long you will be playing as the creature and trying to escape the facility, here’s your answer. This game will take anything between 4 to 8 hours to beat. The main story completion will take around 4 hours, even 3 hours if you rush through it.

If you are a completionist, it can take around 5 to 8 hours depending on how you solve the puzzles. Overall, it is quite a short game that can be completed in one go. Since the game has no map, it can get a bit confusing in your first playthrough. Many areas will look similar and you can lose your way sometimes.

Does Carrion have Multiplayer Mode?

Unfortunately, no. Carrion is a completely single-player experience and there is no multiplayer versus mode, co-op mode or local split screen options. You are a lone monster but to be honest, you are quite terrifying on your own. So, the developers’ decision to go purely single player is not so bad.

This is everything you need to know about how long it takes to beat Carrion and multiplayer mode. Be sure to read how to get past lasers in Carrion on ways to escape when you get stuck.
