Can You Swim Across Rivers In Animal Crossing New Horizons

Prasad MoreBy Prasad MoreMarch 25, 2020Updated:July 2, 20202 Mins Read

While Animal Crossing New Horizons lets you do a ton of things in the game, you might want to know as to what extent you can do basic things in the game, and with a large water reservoir, it begs the question of being able to swim in Animal Crossing New Horizons. This guide will tell you if you can swim in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

How to get across the river in Animal Crossing New Horizons?

If you wish to cross water bodies in Animal Crossing New Horizons, swimming is not preferable as your character cannot swim in the game. It is frustrating as when there is such a wide variety of options that you can do, swimming should have been one of them.

To cross water, however, you can use bridges and other means of transport which makes it possible to go from one place to another separated by water, but it too isn’t possible to carry and or create a bridge anywhere you wish.

You can always rely on pole vaulting to cross a small stream of water to get to the other side. The pole vault is a wooden pole that you can use like athletes of the real sport and add in some much-needed fun to your adventure.

You will be able to cross water bodies in no time and this will save you tons of time where otherwise you would have been restricted to going around the entire area.

The pole vault isn’t available in the game by itself and you will have to create it by yourself, but once you do create it, you will have it by your side forever whenever you need it.
