Well simply put, yes, you can kill the Grim Reaper in the Umbral in Lords of the Fallen. However, Scarlet Shadows also known as the red reapers in the game are one of the most difficult enemies to defeat and kill. These Umbral natives are not only quick but they also deal extensive damage if you are not careful enough. On top of that the red reapers boast around pretty massive health that can be quite frustrating to deal with.
Although, with that being said, there are a variety of drops that you can get your hands on killing the Grim Reapers in Lords of the Fallen. From a few hundred Vigors to some Umbral Scourings there is plenty of loot for players. You will be able to come across them quite easily in the game.
Players will just have to spend some time in the Umbral realm up until they max out the Umbral Dread. Simply take a look at the Umbral Eye and wait for it to turn red. Once done, the Grim Reaper will start hunting you down in no time. It is worth mentioning that you won’t be able to heal once the Grim Reaper starts chasing you.
Red Reapers are quite easy to spot too in Lords of the Fallen. You will see red spots around the ground and they will jump out at any given point. Players will have to be careful as they are quick and will attack instantly after which they will immediately pass through the ground again. We would recommend you upgrade your weapons or have a boss weapons at your disposal before facing them in the Umbral Realm. One of the best ways to kill Grim Reapers in Umbral in Lords of the Fallen would be to Soulflay them. However, given their speed and their ability to pass through it is equally difficult to do so.
