Grow a Garden on Roblox is getting an Animals update, and it appears to be adding a bunch of new things! In the trailer, available in-game behind the Gear Shop, you will see multiple pets like a Bunny, a Chicken, a golden Dragonfly and more. However, there is One of them is the Burnt mutation and in this guide, we will explore how to potentially get it.
How to Get Burnt Mutation in Grow a Garden?
On the official Discord’s Leaks channel, the above image was shared. As we can see, it’s a Red Dragon, it has a Level and Hunger bar associated with it, plus, we also see a Carrot with a Burnt mutation. So, we can assume that if you have managed to get this dragon, it will unleash its fire breath on your crops and give it this specific mutation, however, we don’t know how much of a value increase your fruit will get because of it. We will know soon when the update drops!
How Do the Animals/Pets in Grow a Garden Work?
The general idea, as shared by the devs in the Discord, is this:
You place an egg in your garden and wait for it to hatch. When it does, the pet that emerges can vary in size—similar to how plants grow differently. Pets begin at Age 0, and by feeding them daily, they gradually grow older. However, if a pet becomes hungry, its growth halts.
Pets freely roam your garden, each possessing unique traits. For instance, a bee might pollinate fruit using a Pollination Mutation, while a bird could randomly eat a fruit and drop its seed an hour later. Another example is a worm that fertilizes the soil, helping your plants grow faster. (These examples are not final and may change.)
Some pets can form synergies or special combinations, unlocking rare fruits or mutations that only specific groupings can produce. For example, one bee might pollinate a flower, while another converts pollinated flowers into honey.
Considering all these additions, the Animals update in Roblox Grow a Garden is going to take the game to the next level and make it even more interesting to play. We will update this guide with more specifics when the update comes out.
