Bugsnax: How To Save Game Progress

Published Date :

Bugsnax, a recently released single-player adventure video game by Young Horses, tasks players to explore a mysterious island in a hunt for the eponymous half-bug-half-snack creatures. Just to make sure that you don’t end up losing your progress of the hunt, we are here to discuss how you can save your game progress in Bugsnax.

How to Save Game Progress in Bugsnax

The game’s progress will auto-save in Bugsnax. There’s no manual save available in the game. Hence, you don’t have to worry about heading to the menu and look for the manual save option. But there’s also a negative thing that you won’t be able to save and leave the game as and when you like.

As mentioned, the game will auto-save and you can confirm it when you see a small white-colored eye on the top-left corner of the screen. You will notice the eye frequently as you pass any checkpoints in the game. Since the checkpoints are pretty close enough to each other, you don’t have to worry about playing for a long time before your game progress in Bugsnax is auto-saved.

There is a backtrack feature available in the game so that you can get back to the previously saved checkpoint if you haven’t performed well lately. This backtrack feature is the “Restart from Save option.” All you need to do is head to the menu and select this option to start from the last save and lose all the unimportant progress that you have made later. However, the only thing to note here is that you can only backtrack to the last previous save. This means that if you are planning to skip the last save and go to the one that was saved before that, you certainly won’t be able to do that.

That’s everything you need to know about how to save game progress in Bugsnax. If you want to read more gaming guides on other games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or Genshin Impact, make sure to visit our gaming guides section.
