Exploring different areas in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown while trying to complete your quests and missions is interesting and challenging at the same time. Staying true to the Metroidvania genre, this game will put you on paths wherein you will encounter obstacles that will keep you from completing your tasks. Since this is likely to happen early on in the game itself, players aren’t able to find a way around these blockages.
Similarly, you will also come across the glowing yellow walls during your gameplay. At first glance, the wall seems cracked, as a result, players assume it will be easy to destroy. However, you will soon realize that even after trying out all your weapons and skills, the wall doesn’t break. To help you with this, here’s a guide you can follow to learn how you can tear down these walls and continue exploring the map.
How to Destroy Glowing Yellow Walls in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown
In order to break these yellow walls, you will have to get the Dimensional Claw Time Power. Unfortunately, players will have to wait for a while before they can get this Time Power. You will be able to unlock it once you reach Chapter 4, which is titled “The Path to the Sand Prison.”
To obtain it, you will have to fight the powerful enemy Kiana, Queen of the Forest boss, in the Hyrcanian Forest. Once you defeat her in combat, you will be able to get the Dimensional Claw. This will give Sargon the ability to temporarily trap any object or smaller enemies and launch them.
Once you possess this Time Power, you can use it to break down any obstacles you encounter. Similarly, when you come across any glowing yellow walls on your journey, scan the area around you and look for items you can throw at the wall, preferably glowing purple blobs or explosive barrels. You can then use the Dimensional Claw to capture it, aim and then release the explosive to destroy the wall in front of you.
Additionally, if you are not able to trap a particular object, you can check if you have currently already captured an object or enemy by looking at the bottom left corner of the screen. The icon looks like a cube and is white and blue in color. It is also necessary to keep in mind that you can trap only one object or a small enemy at a time.
This is everything you need to know if you are looking to break all the yellow glowing walls you encounter while exploring Mount Qaf.
