Note: Codes can expire at any time, so redeem them as soon as possible. For example, T9RJB-BFKRR-3RBTW-B33TB-KCZB9 is a permanent one, but the others have an expiration date of September 16, so hurry.
Shift Codes are released by Gearbox through social media, live streams, and community events. As you saw above, they typically provide Golden Keys that open golden chests, dropping rare loot. Some codes may also unlock skins, weapons, or timed bonuses.
Most codes are time-limited or single-use, so you’ll need to redeem them quickly before they expire.
There’s also a unique BL4 Discord Quest Shift code for which you need to do this:
- Log into your Discord account and go to Discover > Quests.
- Find the Borderlands 4 Looter Quest and ‘Accept’ the quest from there.
- Choose Quest on Desktop or Console under the drop-down of “Select a Platform to get Started.” Make sure the console is connected if you choose that option. There will be steps shown to add a connection to PlaysStation or Xbox.
- Then play the game for at least 15 minutes and the quest should get completed.
- Claim the reward from the Discord quest section and you will receive a unique Borderlands 4 Shift code. Redeem it to obtain 1 Golden Key.
How to Redeem BL4 Shift Codes?
- First, you need to ensure that your SHiFT account is linked to your 2K account. If you don’t have a Shift account yet, go ahead and make one.
- Then, to redeem a code, go to the Rewards tab in your Shift account.
- Enter the code there and hit Redeem.
- You can also do this in-game. Open the Pause menu > Click on SHIFT > Rewards.
