Borderlands 3 Tipping Moxxi: What Happens When You Do It?

Updated Date :

If you have played Borderlands 3, you will be familiar with Moxxi, the bartender who also has a jar for tips on her counter. She is known to be a flirty bartender, and if you donate to her tip jar, you can stand the chance to get a reward. In this article, we will show you what happens when you tip Moxxi.

What Happens When You Tip Moxxi In Borderlands 3?

Tipping Moxxi in Borderlands 3 will give you a random gun. The type of gun and its quality will depend entirely on the amount of money you donate to Moxxi. Once you tip Moxxi a certain amount, you will need to check your mail inventory to see if you have got a weapon.

Reward

When you visit Moxxi, you will have the option to choose between a tip of $100 or $1000. Either of these choices will get you some sort of random weapon. You will receive this weapon in your mail, as mentioned earlier.

How Much Should You Pay Moxxi?

Now that you know what you will get when you tip Moxxi, you will need to know how much you should be tipping her exactly.

When you tip Moxxi, you will find that the specific amount is split up into sections of $10000, $15000, $30000, and on some occasions, even $40000.

If you choose to pay Moxxi $10000, all you will receive is a trinket that can be hung on the side of your gun. If Moxxi receives amounts upwards of the $15000, $30000, and $40000 mark, she will give you a brand new weapon altogether. You can choose to pay Moxxi a large amount of money altogether instead of paying small amounts.

When tipping Moxxi, we’d also recommend you go for the $1000 option instead of just paying $100. This is because Moxxi prefers more expensive tips, and doing so will also keep her on good terms with you. You will also get the best benefits from these tips when you are at either level 30 or 35.

Where Can You Find Moxxi’s Tip Jar in Borderlands 3?

You will find Moxxi’s tip jar in her bar located on the Sanctuary. It is a ship you can only go to once you complete the first part of Borderlands 3 on Pandora. Once you do so, you will be able to head to her bar to get some Eredium. Here, you will be able to see the tip jar on the right side of the bar.

This brings us to the end of our guide on what you get for tipping Moxxi in Borderlands 3. As you can see, tipping is a great way to get weapons in this game.
