With the new update, we have a new quest for players to complete! This is the Dr. Crookspine Invention quest, which requires you to give him a hand with his new invention. The process involves catching boots, Rocket Fuel and a Speed Core in Fisch and like most other quests, this isn’t going to be a cakewalk.
After you’ve spoken to this NPC at the Laboratory (GPS coordinates: -1591, 129, -628) near Sunstone island, you can start your grind to obtain the quest reward. If you’re not sure what these boots do, keep reading till the end.
How to Get Boots, Rocket Fuel and Speed Core in Fisch
You can obtain Boots, Rocket Fuel and Speed Core from the Ocean, Mushgrove Swamp and Sunstone Island locations. There are no specific coordinates or any particular weather, season, or time you need to follow, so you can get started anytime you wish. However, you’ll need a lot of luck because these are of the Secret rarity, which means you need a high-luck fishing rod. An enchanted Destiny Rod with its 250% luck can be useful. If you’re using any other high-level rod, ensure that it has one of these enchantments that boost luck: Quality, Divine, Breezed, Storming, Lucky, or Immortal.
Here is the % of luck you can get from each:
- Quality: +15% lure speed, +15% luck and +5% resilience
- Divine: +45% luck
- Breezed: +65% luck when Windy
- Storming: +95% luck when Rainy
- Lucky: +20% luck
- Immortal: +75% luck
You can stack server luck with Aurora and Merlin’s Luck (+30% luck boost for 10 minutes for 5,000C$) to have a better chance of obtaining these items, which are otherwise going to be very challenging and time-consuming to catch.
When you bring back all the required items to Dr. Crookspine, you can get the Glimmersuit Boots.
What do the Glimmersuit Boots do?
While we have ways to get around faster in water (Flippers, Super Flippers, Tidebreaker), we finally have an item that can give you a speed boost on land. You can equip the Glimmersuit Boots to your character and with them, your movement on land will be much faster than before.
