The mystic world of Lands Between is filled with intriguing characters throughout your journey. My personal favorite was Alexander until Boc, the Seamster dropped in. He is a demi-monkey that can alter your equipment for free. But Boc is tricked by some clod (idiot), as he changes him into a tree. So, here’s our guide on how to complete the questline for Boc in Elden Ring.

How to Complete the Boc Questline in Elden Ring?
Mentioned below are all the locations where you can encounter Boc, the Seamster.
First Encounter with Boc
- The first location you will encounter Boc, the Seamster will be to the south of Northern Agheel Lake, Site of Grace.
- As you pass through the trees, you will hear someone calling you. When you hit one of the small trees, Boc will transform back to a demi-monkey.
- Upon talking to him, he will tell you that he was banished into the cave and was told to never come back. When he was pushed out of the cave, someone put a spell turning him into a small tree.
- He will express his gratitude and reward you with 10 mushrooms.
- Boc asks if you can stay for a while so that he can retrieve his belongings from a cave to give you something more valuable.
Second Encounter
- You will encounter him for the second time at the Coastal Cave located in the Western Limgrave.
- You will find him beaten up while laying next to the Site of Grace.
- Some Demi-humans knocked Boc for retrieving his belongings. You can get them back for him.
- You will encounter several enemies (that you can avoid) and two Demi-human Chief bosses.
- Upon the defeat of these two bosses, they will drop the Tailoring tools and Sewing needle from Boc.
- Return to Boc at the site of Grace, to return his belongings.
Third Encounter
- You can meet him again at the Lake-facing Cliffs, Site of Grace. You need to rest at the Site of Grace for him to appear again.
- Upon resting, he will be right next to the site and refer to you as Master.
- He will ask and plead if he can alter your garments.
- Even if you choose to leave, Boc will alter your garments for free as he becomes your personal Seamster.
Fourth Encounter (Optional)
- Head over to the East Raya Lucaria Gate and rest at the site of Grace.
- As you rest, he will appear near the Grace for you to interact.
- You can rest again to talk to Melina.
- As you talk to Melina, she will talk to you about Boc.
Fifth Encounter
- You will find him next at the Altus Plateau. It can be accessed through the Grand Lift of Dectus.
- For him to appear again, rest at the Altus Highway junction, site of Grace.
Last Encounter with Boc
- Head over to the East Capital Rampart, site of Grace, and rest to talk to him again.
- As you interact with him, choose Did you see it an option. Boc will tell you that the Erdtree is waiting for you.
- To encounter and trigger a quest for Boc, we need a Gold Sewing needle and tailoring tools. You can find it at the Church of Vows in a treasure chest.
- You will also need to buy a Legendary armor from Enia at the Roundtable hold.
- Return to the East capital Rampart. Give him the Gold sewing needle upon which he will be able to alter legendary types of equipment.
- As you interact with him, he will talk about his ugly appearance and how he wishes to be reborn again.
- He will state that he wants to be reborn by Rennala.
- There are two choices to finish his quest.
- You can use the “Prattling Pate, You are beautiful” item on him.
- You can give him a Larval tear for him to be reborn again.
- As you give him a Larval Tear, he will head to the Raya Lucaria Academy to be reborn as a human. You will notice a naked man laying on the ground at the Academy. As you interact with him, he won’t reply to the conversation. When you rest at the nearby Site of Grace, you will notice his corpse.
Sounds pretty sad conclusion to an amazing questline, eh?
