How to Fix BLZ51903006 Error in World of Warcraft
As per Blizzard, BLZ51903006 is an error you usually get when you are facing connection issues. But many of the fixes that work for it are also not directly related to your connection. So here are some tricks that can help you resolve this error and let you play World of Warcraft. Before we check them thanks to user Emkasslo on Blizzard Forums for sharing these fixes.
- Try Running the Game from WoW Directory: Battle.net might sometimes give this error when running games from the launcher. Instead, simply open the game directory and launch the game using WoW-64.exe or WoW.exe files.
- Delete the Blizzard Cache folder:
- Start by closing World of Warcraft and Battle.net launcher.
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialogue, here type %ProgramData% and hit enter.
- Now, if there is a Blizzard Entertainment folder, then click on it and press Delete. You can also press Shift + Delete to permanently remove it. But try deleting it to recycle bin in case you need to restore it.
- Restart Battle.net and try playing World of Warcraft.
- Delete the Battle.net Folder:
- Once again close Battle.net and WoW, you can also end them directly from the Task Manager.
- Just like before, Press Windows + R and type %ProgramData%, and hit enter.
- Now look for the Battle.net folder and delete it.
- Restart the launcher and play WoW and you should not get the BLZ51903006 error.
If the above fixes don’t work then you can also try resolving it using these tricks:
- Refresh your Connection: Since this is a connection issue this trick should be very helpful. Simply reboot your router if you play WoW wirelessly. Or if you play on a wired connection then plug out and plug in the Ethernet cable to help fix it.
- Close Background Apps: Apps running in the background might be hogging up your internet. Try closing them and then playing the game to see if you still get the error.
- Update your Drivers: Be it your network drivers or your Graphics driver. You should check if there are any updates available for them. Update them if there are, and then play World of Warcraft.
- Reinstall the game with Battle.net: This is another basic fix that can help you out. Uninstall the game first and then Battle.net from your PC. Once you have removed and cleared all its files, reinstall both of them. After the game installs, try to play WoW and you shouldn’t get this error.
